Service on the Executive Committee is open to all members. Positions are held for two years. Members vote each May for Chair and Treasurer (odd years) and Chair-Elect and Secretary (even years).

organizational representative to the public and shall be responsible for calling and presiding over general meetings and meetings of the Executive Committee
Chair-Elect
Works to learn the duties of the Chair in preparation for serving in that role immediately following their term as Chair-Elect. The Chair-Elect will also perform the duties of the Chair in the Chair’s absence

Responsible for an accurate accounting of all monies, collecting of dues, and paying bills.

Secretary
Responsible for taking minutes of meetings, maintaining a membership list, and sending meeting announcements
African American and Hispanic Breastfeeding Task Forces
Workgroups that identify, plan, and participate in community events. To join either task force, please email us with your name, contact info, and the group you are interested in working with. A volunteer from that task force will follow-up and let you know how you can get more involved.
